Use dictation and voice conversations
Dictate an editable draft or talk naturally in a real-time voice session.
Dictate a draft
Tap the microphone beside the message field and allow microphone access when requested. Your words are inserted into the draft. Stop recording, check the text and edit it before choosing Send. Dictation in the composer does not send a message automatically.
Open chatTalk and listen in voice mode
- Open Voice from your assistant or the waveform button in chat. Review the displayed duration and credit reservation, then choose Start talking. Opening the popup does not activate the microphone.
- Speak naturally and interrupt by speaking when you need to. Mute turns off microphone transmission. Stop audio silences playback; it does not cancel provider processing. End call or close the popup to end the connection.
- Open Transcript to read or copy the conversation. Review last request in composer ends the session and places your latest request in an editable draft. Review and send it to use your assistant tools; the voice conversation itself does not execute connected-app actions.
If the microphone does not work
Check your browser microphone permission and selected device. Live voice also needs an available provider connection and enough credits for the displayed reservation. Composer dictation uses your browser speech service and may have different language support. Typed chat remains available if audio cannot connect.
