Connect WhatsApp and understand assistant channels
Link your own number, set a task budget and check the actual channel status.
Check channel availability
Open the channel icons on the Assistant page or Assistant settings in your account. WhatsApp is an operator-managed rollout currently limited to US phone numbers. Other +1 countries are not included. Check the supported regions and status shown in settings; a configured sender does not connect your personal number.
Open WhatsApp settingsLink your own WhatsApp number
- When connection is available, choose the maximum credits per task and accept the authorization checkbox. Choose Connect WhatsApp.
- Open Send the linking message in WhatsApp and send the prepared message from your own number. The link expires in ten minutes.
- Return to Twelva, choose I sent the message — refresh, check the displayed number and choose Confirm this WhatsApp number.
Send tasks from WhatsApp
Send text to start a task, answer its pending question or add requirements to the current task. Each new task may use the chosen Twelva credit limit. This connection does not use a ChatGPT, Codex or Claude subscription. Attach files and review external email or calendar actions in Twelva.
Pause, disconnect and check results
Use /pause, /resume or /cancel for the latest channel task. Send STOP or choose Disconnect WhatsApp to unlink the channel. Disconnecting does not cancel existing Twelva tasks.
Replies are attempted within the WhatsApp service window. Later results remain in the assistant conversation in Twelva. If delivery is uncertain, check that conversation before repeating the task; a provider acceptance record is not proof of delivery to your phone.
