Check a task, failure or pending credit return

Read the status in Tasks

Tasks brings conversations, images, websites and videos into one progress view. Use its filters to find work that is active, completed or needs attention.

1. Open Tasks and find the request.
2. Read the current status and any error or credit-return notice.
3. Use Open result when the task is complete, or open the linked workspace for more context.

Check credit activity separately

A failed task and a confirmed credit return are separate events. Credits may remain reserved while the system resolves the result. Check Usage & credits for confirmed adjustments.

Do not assume a refund is complete from the task status alone. If a task continues to need attention, contact support with its reference and the relevant receipt.

Use the action offered for that task

Queued video jobs can offer Cancel. Failed videos offer Retry after a confirmed refund. Eligible failed image tasks offer Retry in Create to restore the previous settings.

Review the current credit cost before retrying. If the page could not refresh, try loading its latest status before starting another request.
