Write a useful first prompt
Give the model a clear goal, helpful context and a way to judge the result.
2 min readDescribe the result you need
A useful request says what you want to make, who it is for and which details must be preserved. Specify the output language, format and length when they matter.
- State the task: for example, draft a product description.
- Add the audience, source facts and the tone you want.
- Give constraints such as word count, required sections or details to leave out.
- Ask for a first draft, then give a specific revision.
Add the right context
Attach the document you want the answer to use. Choose the relevant project when its brand memory should guide the response. For an image edit, say what should change and what should stay the same.
Review and refine
Check names, facts, calculations and source references before using an answer. Ask for a focused change such as a shorter introduction or a different composition. A new response or generation may use additional credits.
